Just ended my Diwali holiday today… I happen to visit a museum ‘kaladham’… this museum curates Hampi’s history designed by the famous Goan architect Grerard da Cunha… I felt the water pavilions and facades of the central court were like music played by the aquascape… This spatial composition was, so simple yet sensitive.
Really enjoyed sketching it…
Also, attached are sketches made in
Badami and Hampi..the Rocks and stones have a
mystical story to tell… that is ingrained in them since centuries… It was a wonderful and deep experience…
Badami is a perfect example of a crafted landscape, city townscape in rock where the rock transcends down into the water.
